If you have been on a drive along highway 75, heading south around 71st South, you have probably noticed the massive construction project underway east of the highway. The project is a townsquare style shopping development costing upwards of 70 million dollars. The towncenter is rumored to have already signed deals with Target, Lowes, a whole food grocer and a twenty-five screen theater.
Amongst the deals already in writing, Tulsa Hills will also have retail space available. The space is currently measured at over 1 million square feet and should be completed in late 2007. If you need a comparison, Tulsa Woodland Hills Mall is 1.2 Million square feet.

This time last year, the road work had begun and now the foundations are being set for Tulsa’s newest shopping center(s). The new Tulsa Hills in conjunction with the River Park Walkway and various other phases of development taking place in the South Tulsa area are being new life to the city. As expansion moves further south, 71st might not be so.. busy!

1Do you have any information about River Park Walkway involvement? Where will the path go relating to the new shopping center? What is planned down the back side of the hill off the east slope of the shopping center? Will the trail happen to be down along there?
Thanks.

5I am the manager with Maurices, a retail store opening in the Tulsa Hills Retail Center in late August. I just want to say that it is exciting to see such great opportunities for many surrounding areas. It will not only allow many surrounding areas places to shop, but will also bring many jobs for a much needed and battered economy. So come see us Aug. 22nd and help revitalize the economy!!!
