Even as a designer, I didn't learn anything really new or exciting that wasn't already out there floating in the very accessible ether. However, it was the contacts that I made, that made it bearable and actually enjoyable! I'm curious about the individual who you mentioned was the "so-called “inspiration” to visit Web Directions North was a single-individual who I felt was a great leader in our industry, turns-out he’s a fool.
