As I’m scouring through my database of, “to-watch,” websites and upcoming application launches, I realized one that I had missed. A while back I remember conjuring up an idea to incorporate Google Map API with a user submittable database of local gas prices.
Although my project never left the mental notepad I jotted the idea down within, someone else did. Having the ability to search live gas prices within our city, or any city for that matter is extraordinary! It is something only the internet is able to provide, at least until Cox Communications delivers onDemand services in the Tulsa Metro Area.
I think I might incorporate a feed of these local gas prices into my google homepage so that I know where I should buy gas whenever I need it. If I come up with anything super neat, I will let everyone know!
